Grab Holdings raised its full-year 2026 revenue projection to between $4.15 billion and $4.20 billion on Tuesday, increasing the top end of the previous forecast of $4.15 billion. The company also lifted its expected annual adjusted EBITDA to a range of $790 million to $800 million, up from the earlier estimate of $720 million to $740 million.
The upward revision follows strong performance in the third quarter, where total revenue climbed 27% to $1.11 billion. This figure exceeded the $1.07 billion consensus estimate tracked by LSEG data. Gross merchandise value across the company's mobility and delivery units rose 18% to reach $6.8 billion for the quarter.
Grab recorded its first core profit in its financial services division for the period ending in September. The profit resulted from increased adoption of loans, insurance plans, and other financial products by the platform's drivers and merchants. The company noted that targeted consumer promotions and driver incentives contributed to higher usage rates.
CEO Anthony Tan attributed the growth to sustained consumer demand despite regional economic challenges. "Despite the elevated fuel prices and macroeconomic headwinds across the region… more users are transacting on Grab than ever," Tan said.
The user base expanded to a record 57 million monthly transacting users, an increase from 54 million in the prior quarter. Grab shares gained more than 3% in extended trading following the announcement, offsetting some of the 42% decline the stock has experienced year to date.
The company will continue to monitor the impact of its financial services expansion on future earnings as it moves through the final quarter of 2026.
