Los Angeles Galaxy and Austin FC meet Saturday at 5 p.m. EDT in Carson, California, for a Western Conference matchup that marks their second meeting this season. The Galaxy hold a 10-11-11 record and sit 11th in the conference, while Austin trails at 8-14-10 for 15th place.

The two teams previously faced off this year, with Los Angeles claiming a 2-1 victory. Both sides have mixed results against divisional rivals. The Galaxy are 7-10-9 against Western Conference opponents, while Austin stands at 7-13-7 in similar contests. Austin has won 39 of its 45 matches when it scores at least two goals, a statistic that underscores the high-scoring nature of their recent form.

Goalkeeper Klauss has been a primary offensive force for the Galaxy, netting nine goals. For Austin, Christian Ramirez leads the charge with nine goals and two assists. Recent form shows the Galaxy averaging 5.4 goals per game over their last ten matches, though they also concede 6.6 per game. Austin averages 3.9 goals scored and 5.4 goals conceded in that same span.

Injury concerns affect both rosters. The Galaxy will be without Riqui Puig and Isaiah Parente. Austin misses Christopher Applewhite, Ervin Torres, and Jon Bell. Betting markets favor Los Angeles, with the Galaxy listed at -210, a draw at +377, and Austin at +443. The total goals line is set at 3.5.

The match kicks off at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson. The Galaxy average 5.0 corner kicks per game, ranking ninth in the conference. Austin averages 15.3 corners per game. With both teams allowing a high volume of goals, the matchup promises open play between the 11th and 15th seeds.
