Dillon Dingler of the Detroit Tigers captured his second straight Gold Glove on Sunday.

The award recognized his defensive performance behind the plate. He is one of several players receiving the honor for the second year in a row. Other repeat winners include Wilyer Abreu of Boston and Ceddanne Rafaela of the Red Sox.

Several veterans collected the trophy for the fourth time. Christian Walker of Houston and Matt Olson of Atlanta both won their fourth Gold Gloves. Mauricio Dubón of Atlanta took his third, having won in 2023 and 2025.

The Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks each had three winners. Boston added Caleb Durbin to its list of first-time honorees. Arizona saw Gabriel Moreno win his second glove, a title he first earned in 2023. Geraldo Perdomo and Corbin Carroll from Arizona also received their first awards.

The voting process involves managers and up to six coaches from each team. They cannot select players from their own clubs. Since 2013, the vote includes a defensive index from the Society for American Baseball Research, which makes up about 25 percent of the total score.

Financial incentives varied by the number of wins. Walker received a $75,000 bonus for his fourth glove. Tanner Bibee of Cleveland earned $50,000 for his first, while Brice Turang of Milwaukee took $25,000 for his second.
