Florida voters begin casting ballots today, Tuesday, November 3, to determine the outcomes of several high-profile state and federal races. The election cycle includes contests for governor, attorney general, and U.S. Senate seats. Residents will also vote on three state constitutional amendments.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Election officials and media partners have scheduled the first wave of results for release at 8 p.m. The timing creates a specific window for news coverage, with stations preparing live broadcasts that align with these operational milestones.
FOX 35 in Orlando is planning a schedule that begins coverage at 4 a.m. with its morning show. The station will continue reporting throughout the day via specific programming blocks. Coverage shifts to evening news broadcasts once polls close, coinciding with the initial data release at 8 p.m.
Viewers can access live updates through multiple digital channels. The station is streaming content on its dedicated app, YouTube, and various social media platforms. The FOX Local app provides free access to live 24/7 news, weather, and traffic reports without a cable subscription.
The application is available for free on several devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Google Android TV, and Vizio. It also supports mobile viewing on iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets. The service allows users to watch locally produced programming on their televisions without a TV provider.
The source notes that FOX network programming, such as NFL games, is not included in the free FOX Local app. Users can find direct download links for the app at the station's dedicated web page. The digital team at FOX 35 and FOXLocal.com are managing the distribution of these live streams and results.
